Baby Card

I made this card for a dear friend of mine. She was blessed with her FIRST grandchild and it is a BOY.

This woman has so much love to give to this boy, and she is soooo ready to give it.
If you look close, you can see that it looks like I sewed the edges, when in fact,
all I did way use my paper piercing tool to create the effect of what a sewing line
would look like, then I used my wight gel pin to draw a line over the holes.
On the inside, I used a grandmother stamp. If I remember right, it says,
Grandmothers are a gift from Heaven.
It is a stamp that one of my best friends gave me.
Now, all I have to do is meet up with this BUSY woman to give it to her.

Thank you for reading,

YEAH!!!

YEAH!!! I sold my FIRST item on Ebay.
When I signed in to get the address, I saw that the 2nd item had been sold. YEAH!!!
The items I sold were sets of Elmo goody boxes. I make the boxes as they are
sold that way I won't have boxes everywhere, getting messed up.
When I went to make the boxes, I couldn't find my red paper anywhere.
I had to make a Michael's run. Who doesn't like a good reason to go to Michael's?
The boxes made and ready to ship, now all I have to do is wait on the post office
to be open, so I can ship the items out to my first 2 customers.

While at Michael's, I picked up some mirror paper. I can not WAIT to use that.
I was standing in the store, looking at the paper, coming up with all kinds of ideas.
Maybe try out some things with the Cricut cartridge Forever Young and the mirror paper.

Baby Boy Card

There is a wonderful lady that I go to church with, who is about to be a grandmother
for the first time. Her first grandchild is going to be here soon.
It is a BOY!
Here is one of the cards that was ordered from me for this baby. I have been working on the
rest and might not be able to add them on until after the shower.
She is giving her daughter a baby shower today, and I can not wait to see
all the baby things. I love baby showers.

EVIL Shoe Card

Yes! You read the TITLE right. I names this card the EVIL Shoe Card for a good reason.
My dear friend brought me some paper and asked if I would make her mom a Mother's Day
card with it. She wanted to know if I could make another shoe,
but using this new paper she got for me.
Sure. Why not?
Boy oh boy. This paper wouldn't cut in my Cricut no matter how many times it went over it.
I ended up cutting it out on printer paper and tracing it on the back of this paper.
Was that an easier way? You ask.
NO!!!
It took, what seemed like forever, to cut it all out by hand.
But, looking back on it now, and knowing her mom LOVED the card, it was worth it.

Thank you for reading.

Mother's Day Card (LATE POST)

Here is a card I made for Mother's Day. I used the Cricut Forever Young
in the Cricut Craft Room. I welded two together so it would
stand up, like it is shown in the pic.
The paper used was from a pack that was given to me by one of my best friends.
I don't remember the name of it but I know she got it from Michael's.
The brad I used was from an old pack I have had for years.
I am glad it worked out well, and the person that it was bought for, really liked it.
That is the main part for me.

Forgetful Me

Do you ever tell yourself that you are going to do something and have all ideas to get it done,
then you forget or get too busy and don't have time?
I have been doing that for the past month and my TO DO list is getting longer and longer.

Card after card that I have made, I take a pic of it and upload it to Facebook,
and forget to add if to my blog.

So, here is a card I made a few weeks ago for my little cuz. It was her birthday
and you know how all girls like to be called a Princess.
She likes it, but I think I liked it more.

Thank you,

Birthday Card

Here is a new card that I made for my friend's grandma, for her birthday. It is a simple A2 sized card and very cute for all ages. I used a few different shades of pink, and I think

it turned out better than I though it would. Like most of my cards end up doing. LOL
I just talked to my friend today, and she said her grandmother LOVED it. That just makes me so glad to know other people like, even love, what I make.

I thank the Lord for all he has done and going to do for me in my life. He had given me an eye for crafts and I have so much fun with it.

Thank you,
