Great Yard Sale Finds
This past weekend, my baby and I spent the morning riding around looking for a good Yard Sale. Who doesn't love a good find??? I know I do. This is what I found.
Thank you for reading.
October Fun!!!
It is almost the end of October and I have been having a BLAST with my new Die Hard Club stamps and dies from The Stamps of Life. They are called snowman2build
First up, an orniment and a gift tag.
It is the butterfly body from Stephanie Barnard's Sizzix butterfly Triplits set. My 11 year old son was looking at the Christmas light card I did last month and told me it also looked like a tie. So I just had to make it into a tie.
For this one...
This one was done using Stampin' Up Sizzix Big Shot Framelits Labels Collection to do the card and writers block.
And no stamp set is safe from being changed by me. With the snowman, I turned it into a stack of pumpkins.
I ran the paper through my Big Shot and only cut half the snowman then trimmed the rest of the unwanted paper off.
Here is one that isn't done yet.
The last card I have to show in this post, has been the most fun. I couldn't stop laughing the whole time I was making it.
Thank you for reading.

Been Busy In The Craft Room
Here are just some birthday cards I have put together in the past few days.
With a few strips of colorful papers and a heart punch makes cute candles. I have seen a few different cards done like this before, so I thought I would try it. Glad I did.
The next card was done using the ornaments4Christmas Club die set from stampsoflife.com to make a stand up card. Yes, the balloons were done with an ornament die.
The balloon strings were done with the spiral die from Sizzix Triplits Butterfly die set.I have seen a few Lego cards, so I wanted to try it, too, but I don't have any small circle dies or punches. So, for this card...
it took some thinking, long and hard thinking. What I ended up with was some small circle cut outs provided by a die that you wouldn't expect.
That's the one. It was just the right size. With these circles, I found the best sizes for the Legos were 3/4in. x 3/4in. and 3/4in. x 1 3/4in.
Inking around the edges made the circles pop just right.

Butterfly Body As What???
Christmas lights!!!
Yes, I used the body of a butterfly from Sizzix Triplits Butterfly set to make Christmas light and made a very easy card.
I used a scrapbook marker to freehand the strand for the lights and went crazy with it. Turned out better than I thought it would.
Thank you for reading.
